I’m Russell H. Gaskins III, a Marine Corps veteran who separated from service in 2010. For more than a decade, I lived with a 50% disability rating, unsure how to move forward or what options were available. In 2024, I partnered with Veteran Claims LLC, and for the first time, I felt truly supported navigating the VA process. Their work helped me secure an increased rating, and that experience opened my eyes to how many veterans are still struggling alone.
That moment inspired me to join this field. Since July 2025, I’ve been dedicated to helping veterans understand their benefits, advocate for themselves, and pursue the ratings they’ve earned. My goal is simple: make sure no veteran feels lost in the system the way I once did.
